<p>Anyway, <a href="http://twitter.com/The_MADs/status/11498853542" target="_blank">word reaches me</a> that I&#8217;ve been put forward for a <a href="http://www.the-mads.com/" target="_blank"><strong>MAD award</strong></a> (best new blog), so I&#8217;m all chuffed. Or I was until I looked at the amount of entries and the quality of the competition (warning, if you go blog reading in the links there you&#8217;ll lose hours) (<a href="http://www.the-mads.com/nominate.htm" target="_blank">and if you do do that, don&#8217;t forget to vote for me first</a> <img src='http://www.scottish-blogger-dad.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' />  ).</p>
<p>Nah, who am I kidding? I&#8217;m still chuffed.</p>
<p>Anyway, the point is that there&#8217;s some top entries over there well worth reading if you&#8217;re into the dad/mum blogging scene <a href="http://twitter.com/The_MADs" target="_blank">(The awards are on Twitter too.</a>) and if you&#8217;ve ever wanted to dip your toes into the blogging water then <a href="http://www.the-mads.com/become-a-mad-blogger.htm" target="_blank">there&#8217;s a guide there for that</a>.</p>
